Police Confirm 3 Dead, 10 in Critical Condition In CBN Gas Explosion: The Nigeria Police has confirm that 3 people dead and 10 persons are in critical condition due to the gas explosion that occur at CBN in Cross River state on Friday. The Police Public Relations Officer Mr John Eluu, disclosed this to news men on Saturday while he was been interviewed by News Agency.
In his report he said that 20 members of staff were injured, the explosion which occur around 11 a.m., The explosion which led to the worker to be in a critical condition. in his very word “As of yesterday, which is Friday, 20 CBN staff were injured and but two of the bank staff is in critical condition after the gas explosion.
According to him “the Nigeria Police is monitoring the situation closely and he then said that three of the victims are dead and it has been confirm, and 10 persons are in the hospital and laying on critical condition. “The police are still Investigating to unravel the cause of the explosion. “ The police is still monitoring the victims and we pray that they recover quickly. The rumor saying that the explosion was a detonated bomb blast by Boko Haram insurgents that is a lie.
