Those Selling Pure Water in Abuja started protesting on Thursday at Kubwa, Abuja over the increment of the pure water production price. In their protest they said that the increment of dollar has affected their product, saying that what was sold for N100 for wholesale price that is the 20 bag sachet and sold for 150.
Many who contributed said that if the government didn’t address and tackle this issue with immediate effect, it will affect business and the masses will surfer.
We gathered that the protester said that something that the usually buy for N100 has been increased and they can now buy it that the rate of 150. for this pure water that is suppose to be sold for N10, is now sold for N15, and N20 with this effect, their costumers who normally buy 5 pure water has reduce their intake.
with this, we selling end up going home with a lot of our product no one wants to buy, and we end up over labour ourselves and put ourselves through a lot of stress. Unable to make any money after adding a lot of hard work for the day.
And everyday we pay levy ranging from N50 down to N20 if we most sell in motor parks and right now the business has been bad and our business has been bad.
