All interested applicant  should note that YIEDP stands for Youth Innovative Entrepreneurship Development Programme. On this note, we the newscity.com.ng team want to sincerely inform all interested applicant that the main aimed  of this programmeat (YIEDP)  is to  make sure that the harnessing of latent entrepreneurial spirit among the teeming youths is ensured by providing timely and affordable loans to implement their business ideas.

Information & Communication Technology (ICT)

Requirements For Application

The  following categories of youth (aged 18 – 35) are eligible under this scheme:

Serving youth corps members
Non-NYSC (not more than 5 years post NYSC)

Written below are the complete  details that  are relevant for all eligible youth:

Eligible applicants should aware that they  can apply for the loan using his/her NYSC State Code.
Also the various applications can also be made as an Individual or as a group (of 3-5 but applicants should have similar business interest).
For all  single applicant, they can access up to a facility limit N3m. Then for the group project jointly owned by 3-5 qualified beneficiaries can access up to a facility limit of N10m.

Security: All Graduate applicant entrepreneurs will use their tertiary institution(s) certificate(s) and their NYSC discharge certificate. But  for  the Serving Corp members, they are to pledge their NYSC discharge certificate and their tertiary institution(s) certificates(s). Also, legal ownership of assets financed by the Bank and 3rd party guarantors will be requested as additional collateral from all entrepreneurs.

It is clearly stated that all Participants must have served  in the last 5 years, or be presently serving or must be an artisan with vocational qualifications and certificates to show to the sponsors.
